Taking in the Sites

I’m one of those people that become a tourist wherever I live, and, what better place to be able to do that than in DC. The city and surrounding areas have so much to offer. Just within the last two weeks I’ve been to a play at the Ford’s Theatre, sat in the stands at a Nationals game, and survived a pretty rowdy soccer crowd while watching DC United become victorious over their opponent.

Washington DC offers a wide variety of free activities from museums to historical sites, the zoo, botanical gardens and more. So be sure to take advantage of everything the city has to offer.

If anyone has fun ideas for things to do please let me know because I’m always on the lookout for something fun to do with my family.
